all-in

Who can use a product? And who will be excluded? Decisions in the design process determine how inclusive a design becomes. "all-in" provides concrete approaches for implementing inclusive design. Consisting of a set of 66 cards, "all-in" shows designers the broad spectrum of user needs. A website (inclusivedesign.ch) makes the cards digitally accessible and offers further useful knowledge on inclusive design.

At the diploma exhibition (see second last picture), the visitors were invited to try out the cards for themselves. Using everyday products on display, they were able to play through the cards and get a feel for inclusive design.

The project was exhibited at JUNGDESIGN by DESIGNGUT exhibition from 2. - 5. November, 2023 at the Gewerbemuseum Winterthur (see last picture).

From 31.05.–20.10.2024 all-in will be exhibited at the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich, Toni-Areal at the exhibition “Design für alle? Vielfalt als Norm.”.
