Mikrobiyou
Mikrobiyou was created as part of a theory module with the theme Environmental Humanities. Humans are holobionts, consisting of a host organism and many prokaryotic species such as bacteria, viruses, fungi and archaea. All of these microorganisms together make up the microbiome. Without our microbiome and the symbiotic relationship we form with it, our body would not function. Each person's microbiome is as different as their fingerprints. The biggest part of our microbiome is located in the large intestine.
Our image of bacteria, viruses and fungi is very negative. Mikrobiyou is designed to teach children the importance of our microbiome in a playful way at an early age.
